we're not gonna pay!

after experiencing a perfect sunrise while speeding down the bay bridge into berkeley, hae jung and i officially began our weekend adventure, berkeley v.2.0. and of course this event necessitates an incredibly engaging, over-the-top play-by-play from yours truly:
first up, gourmet burgers at barney's (which included playing with plastic gourds?), followed by a trip to some old-school pharmacy's soda fountain. moral? just say no to egg cream.

(my friends are so 1950s.)
then outdoor napping/talk time with palindromes somewhere in there and then my first encounter with a berkeley co-op. themed party: super models-jungle-boxing. wtf berkeley co-op, wtf. basically, we found this to be a sufficient excuse to dress up and tote around bags of crack, aka tide.

after dancing on tables to devo and peaches, we ended the night perfectly with apple fucking fritters and one dollar noodles and went to bed to awake the next morning to... thai temple! yes! and of course, no sunday in berkeley would be complete without a trip to caroline's rooftop and such an expedition's inevitable photo shoot.

then, i'm pretty sure for four hours we lay around in bed with john and justine. later we did the san fran thing and fattened ourselves up with bread bowls at pier 39, where we also made a visit to the sea lions. soon thereafter hj and i sped back to stinky la.
yes, i miss berkeley and caroline and all of her wonderful friends and that is why i went overboard with this entry. i don't care; the weekend was amazing and i absolutely love that we can all play again this winter.
but now it is officially thanksgiving break. and i all i want to do is see rent as many times as possible before going back to school. what? anthony rapp is kind of my husband.
